QA Walkthrough - Test Project
Blackbaud (practice) · One-off payments · owner q•••@example.org
Complete
Practice run complete
Every step passed in practice mode, and no real money moved. A real Blackbaud project follows exactly these steps.
Why: Practice projects are left out of the dashboard timings, so they never skew the real numbers.

Your code
Upload your project and the security checks will review your real code instead of a sample. Your files are read, never run.
No code linked yet. The security checks will review a generated sample instead, which only proves the sample is sound — not your project.
Hosting model — You host the page
You host the donation page and integrate the full checkout flow.
- Build the payment page and load only the provider’s official checkout script (PCI DSS 6.4.3).
- Handle approval, card capture and receipts on your own server.
- Own the merchant account settings and the go-live sign-off.
Good to know: All six steps apply. This setup carries the most build work, so expect the longest go-live time.
Steps that apply to this setup: 6 of 6.
