What to do next

Test the connection

Click "Test the connection" to reach your provider and put a test payment through.

Why: One click proves the whole path works and ticks off two steps at once — no real money moves.

Still to do: Confirm the connection → Take a test payment → Pass security checks → Go live

All actions:Re-connect Blackbaud

Your progress

The six steps from first credentials to taking real payments. Each one is ticked off automatically as you go.

  1. 1. Get your credentials

    done0d

Your Blackbaud application ID, secret and Payments key are saved

  2. 2. Connect your account

    done<1h

You have approved PayBridge to access your Blackbaud account

  3. 3. Confirm the connection

    pending

PayBridge successfully reached Blackbaud for the first time

  4. 4. Take a test payment

    pending

A test payment went through successfully

  5. 5. Pass security checks

    pending

Your payment page passed every security and PCI check

  6. 6. Go live

    pending

You confirmed the setup is ready to take real payments

Your code

Upload your project and the security checks will review your real code instead of a sample. Your files are read, never run.

No code linked yet. The security checks will review a generated sample instead, which only proves the sample is sound — not your project.

Hosting model — Embedded by a software vendor

You embed payments on behalf of many organisations.

  • Register one application per customer and keep their credentials separate.
  • The full payment integration, repeated for each organisation.
  • Separate approval, merchant account and go-live for each organisation.

Good to know: Two organisations cannot safely share one application — renewing access for one can cut off the other. Give every customer its own application and track it as its own project.

Steps that apply to this setup: 6 of 6.
